Vaccine or treatment

The Epifection simulation asks anyone taking part a question or two every day. This morning, the question covered the choice between funds being used to develop a vaccine or treatment. I voted treatment, since most of the ‘population’ had already been exposed.

Just as well really.

The ‘infected’ person on the map must be:
a) someone picking up food from the takeaway next door
b) someone living in one of the flat conversions in the old church; or
c) me

I’m heading South tomorrow, so if I’m not that yellow marker on the map, then I may avoid infection.

Mr Smith’s imperial stout

I may have mentioned before. But I’ve a fondness for Mr Samuel Smith’s Imperial Stout. This isn’t Guinness, which I adored before the addition of fish bits. This is pure heaven in a glass. That may sound a little like a Sainsbury’s commercial, but I can’t say in words how gorgeous this beer is.

On Tuesday things get even better. I shall have the chocolate variety.

Protection against infection

Bored with shopping, and with all this talk of contagion (yes, I know it’s not real), I thought I should further protect myself by urgently consuming vitamins.

However, it’s well known that such things don’t taste very nice. So I’ve opted for the liquid form.

Looking at my Epifection map, though, makes me think I should cross the high level bridge soon.

I may have to take refuge in the Central, on the other side of the bridge.

Truale

I didn’t go to see eels this evening, largely because I’m stupid and can’t read a calendar.

I did, however, go to see the rather excellent Mr Sam Baker. Who was, as always, truely genius.

Timetables

I’m waiting at a bus stop right now. The bus I’d planned to catch left early and there appears to have been a timetable change, resulting in the removal of the next bus. Not that I was in the mood for standing here for a half hour.

My second in command is now en route to rescue me.
