Sloans

After a call to the SPCA (a man was killing pigeons in Argyle Street), we returned to Sloans.

In view of my second in command’s upset, we bought tickets to see Augustines in Glasgow.

And, rather than steal a poster, I asked if we could have it.

I mentioned our street’s history a little while ago. After some delicious WEST St Mungo’s, we felt it appropriate to buy badges.

My second in command has tears in her eyes. She just read that Augustines are calling it a day after this Autumn’s tour.

I have no tears, but I’m also disappointed with this news. A great live band, possibly the best I’ve ever seen.

Lord, I see red …

And, now, our first visit to Mono. I was only told about the place yesterday, a veggie bar-cafe-music shop.

We’re not hungry, but the menu is impressive. They even stock Sam Smith’s beer too.

Sloans, a visit is compulsory.
