West Holts

It’s a bit warm today. After a cold shower and a cup of tea, we’re now sitting on the grass at West Holts. In the shade of the flags, with an ice cold Brothers’ pear cider (not the stuff you can buy in supermarkets).

Decorating

Well, I’ve spent my Friday evening and my weekend decorating my mother’s front room. It was warm and, with a hangover this morning, I thought I was going to die today.

I’m now listening to birds in the garden. With my good friend, Mr Beck.

The Birds

My second in command put a slice of bread out for the wood pigeons a few minutes ago.

They’ve spotted it, but I think it’s too close to where I’m sitting. They’re staring at me.

Or the bread.

Pocket

While I’ve not had a lot of free time today, I’ve installed some essential programs on my new GPD Pocket.

It’s running pretty well, better than I’d expected for something so small. I won’t post another picture, since its appearance hasn’t changed since yesterday.

It’s still beautiful.

Craig David

Sadly, Craig David has passed away. Like many other people over the past few years, I’ve posted pictures of the Free Trade Inn pubcat.

The place just won’t be the same.

Major typo

I’ve posted a picture of this decomposing poster some weeks ago. It’s stuck behind a timetable at the bus stop at the top of the hill.

How’ve I not noticed the massive typo before?
